Professional Background
My work in content creation and brand storytelling began at Milk Studios in New York, where I served as an Editorial Intern curating and publishing compelling social content across multiple platforms. I contributed to event and editorial photography, assisted with celebrity interviews, and produced visual stories featured on Milk.XYZ. I also curated Milk.XYZ’s weekly newsletter—sent to over 13,000 subscribers—an experience that shaped my love for thoughtful, high-impact digital communication.
After graduating from Clemson University with a B.A. in Communication and a concentration in Brand Communication in 2017, I launched Jordyn Schirripa Photography, a wedding photography business rooted in creative direction and client service—for the modern romantics who desired photos filled with natural color and the heart of their story shining through every image. For several years, I photographed 25–30 weddings annually, both international and dosmetic, managing everything from project planning and vendor coordination to editorial storytelling across my website, blog, and social channels. I also led and mentored multiple interns and associate photographers, cultivating a collaborative and creatively driven team.
Inspired by my work with brides, I founded Modern Romantics in 2021—a curated bridal accessories brand for the modern romantic. As CEO, I oversee product strategy, creative direction, brand partnerships, and all digital media for shopmodernromantics.com. My responsibilities span merchandise planning, photoshoot direction, wholesale communication, and developing digital content that elevates the brand’s timeless yet modern aesthetic.
In 2022, as I shifted my photography business part-time, I joined Grace Church as Digital Media Manager—later stepping into the role of Communication Strategist. In this position, I crafted and implemented comprehensive digital communication strategies, produced social content, newsletters, website copy, podcast and app content, and conceptualized video and creative service elements. I collaborated closely with graphic designers, videographers, developers, and project managers, generating ideas across digital and print mediums. Additionally, I oversaw auxiliary social media accounts, managed volunteer photographers across multiple campuses, and contributed photography for events, campaigns, and staff portraits.
Most recently, I expanded my work in brand and content strategy as the Marketing Manager for Brio Primary Care and Brio Aesthetics. As a member of Brio’s senior leadership team, I lead marketing, content development, and creative direction for a growing primary care and aesthetics practice. My responsibilities include managing social media strategy, producing patient-focused campaigns, directing photoshoots, writing website and marketing copy, and creating digital content tailored for both healthcare and aesthetics audiences. I also manage paid advertising campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and use data insights to refine strategy and improve engagement across platforms. Through cross-team collaboration, brand stewardship, and analytics-driven decision-making, I support Brio’s mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
These combined experiences reflect my passion for creative strategy, thoughtful communication, and building brands that resonate. I’m continually inspired by opportunities to merge storytelling, design, and strategy into meaningful, elevated work.

To whom it may concern,
I’m writing to give my most sincere recommendation for working with Jordyn Schirripa, who interned for me at Milk.
Working in a creative space, Jordyn was a particularly strong asset to my team because of her general organization. She went above and beyond in terms of helping us keep structure at a time when we were particularly low on manpower, going so far as to build out decks and guidelines to help educate oncoming interns. Within a few months of working together, Jordyn was by far the most knowledgeable when it came to our social media strategy, process, and aesthetic, teaching new interns (and even a new Social Media Editor, technically her boss) how we get things done. I can truly say that we would have been royally screwed had Jordyn not taken it upon herself to be so helpful and essentially reinvent the role of Social Media Intern.
Jordyn’s flexibility also went far; her organization is balanced by her creativity, which she expressed through photography, a skill we didn’t even know she had when hiring. She wound up taking portraits of talent that we featured on the site. She also helped with event photography and general event coverage, something that was invaluable to my team.
Overall, Jordyn showed that she cared about our team as a whole rather than just her personal career development, often times taking it upon herself to fix things that I might not even notice. I have to admit to a sincere jealousy of whoever swoops her up next.
Best,
Mathias Rosenzweig

To whom it may concern,
I’m writing to whole-heartedly recommend Jordyn Schirripa as her former Editor at MILK.XYZ. Jordyn is an incredibly hard worker, fast learner, and simply a joy to be around. I can't think of a better addition to your team and know that Jordyn would thrive in any environment she’s placed in.
Throughout her time at Milk, Jordyn demonstrated an ability to deliver everything I needed in a prompt and professional manner. Always the perfectionist, Jordyn’s work was spotless and exciting for me to read and review. Additionally, Jordyn had a genuine and sincere interest in what was going on at Milk and how she could further benefit the team that never failed to impress me. She’s the definition of a hard worker and we were so lucky to have her here at Milk. I have no doubt of her future success!
Please feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions surrounding Jordyn’s potential employment.
Sincerely,
Emma Banks
